Christmas Toy Appeal

MLSS Childrens Toy Appeal

Christmas is the time of year meant for family, friends, joy and giving. Spending time with loved ones and putting a smile onto someone’s face is the magic around the holiday which we all savour. It’s the time to be selfless and do something special for someone else.

When Christmas time comes around, colourful decoration and lights go up illuminating houses and streets; spreading the festivity. Cards are sent around to friends and relatives, while magnificent meals (and pudding) are cooked and eaten in the comfort of family.

Gift Giving at Christmas

As we all know, a huge part of Christmas is presents, whether they’re for your children, friends or relatives. However, not everyone can participate. Many under-privileged children spend Christmas cold and lonely, often with no family or friends, leaving them gift-less.

A lot of young boys and girls aren’t given the opportunity to write their Christmas list to Santa-Claus, decorate the Christmas tree or celebrate in warmth and happiness; it’s an awful re-occurrence every year.

No-one should spend the holidays in this way, MLSS are hosting a Toy Appeal event in order to bring light to someone’s Christmas. We’re collecting items in new/useable condition for the many boys and girls, aged between 0-14, who truly need it.

If you would like to support the cause, please donate anything such as dolls, teddy bears, books, puzzles etc. There are more examples on the Midland Langar Seva Society Toy Appeal poster.  Every gift will be highly appreciated and go towards warming up a child’s life this Christmas.

Please note, if you do donate, make sure any toys are in usable condition for 0-14 year old boys and girls.

Spread some joy this winter!
